At N/a'an ku sê each and every animal in need of a loving home is welcomed with open arms, rehabilitated, and released when possible. Symbolically adopting an animal for just U$110.00 per year ensures its welfare in an environment where its natural instincts are nurtured and encouraged.
The N/a'an ku sê Foundation's human-carnivore conflict mitigation research sees the team fit carnivores captured on farmers' lands with GPS tracking collars. The animals are then released back into their chosen territory. The GPS data obtained from the tracking collars allows the carnivores to be continually monitored. Since 2008 this research has reduced the needless killing of carnivores captured on farmland by 80%. A GPS collar costs U$2,000.00 and is a vital tool in preventing the senseless slaying of Namibia's magnificent predators.
Research is vital for conservation efforts, and the N/a'an ku sê research team gathers more than 3 million camera trap images per year. By donating U$350.00 you'd be helping our team collect more images and in turn collect more data for research purposes on animals and their behavioral patterns.
Any donation amount means the world to us and them. Thank you!
