Conservation research is a key focus at the Naankuse Foundation in Namibia. When possessing concrete empirical evidence, conservation decisions can be responsibly reached. Scientific data is irreplaceable for an organisation dedicated to facilitating a peaceful co-existence between man and wild.

Did you know that our human-carnivore conflict mitigation research has reduced the killing of carnivores captured on farmers' lands by 80% since 2008? Not to be sneezed at.

Significant costs are accumulated during the research processes. Camera traps, GPS tracking collars, vehicles and so much more are crucial to our efforts.
