Wild Vets

Located at the Naankuse Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary, the veterinary clinic is fully operational and tends to any veterinary needs that arise on a day-to-day basis. The Harnas Wildlife Sanctuary is similarly blessed with veterinary clinic facilities.

Fulltime veterinarians are on hand at both the Harnas and Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuaries, not only providing veterinary care to the animal residents of the sanctuaries, but also assisting with wildlife matters that arise further afield. Oft times called on by Namibia's Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT), our veterinarians leap to assist with Namibia’s magnificent desert-adapted elephants, lions and much more.

With countless orphaned and conflict animals being cared for at both Harnas and Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuaries, the veterinary needs are endless. Costs associated with keeping our animals in prime condition are equally as never-ending.
